Speeding in the neighborhood?
I was driving in a Macomb country in Michigan. I was going westbound at 54 mph and a cop going eastbound pulled me over and wrote me a ticket for going 45/40. I told him I was driving from the airport and flew in to see my 3 month old niece, and that I had flown from the west coast.
My Question:
I was 150 yards away from pulling into my sister’s neighbour hood at the moment the “officer” – going eastbound – measured my speed.
My problem with the COP, he saw me speeding turned around his cruiser followed me into my sister’s neighbood. I was no trying to run away, I was so lost in the thought of seeing my neice.. I was going about 25 miles thru the neighborhood. And to my surprise as I was about to pull into my sister’s house… The COP pulls up behind me and gives me a ticket?
CAN a police officer drive like crazy miles throught a neighborhood, to pull someone over? (The cop followed me 0.8 miles)
There are lots of young kids in the area….
0.8 miles what is that about 1/2 mile he should have given you the ticket for the shot 54 mph 14 over the limit. Take it like a man. You sound like a cry baby. I flew in to see my nice you need to come up with a better excuse than that. You say he was driving like crazy and what pray tell do you think you were doing 54 mph in a 40 mph zone. Then you go to say there are a lot of kids in the area! Did he have the siren on when he blue lighted you?
