WEST COAST TRAIL MAP

Can anyone give me a list of west coast swing dance moves?

Also if you have any video on youtube or something that can show the moves, that would be very helpful. Thank you!

The problem is that different teachers will call the same move by different names. Also, more advanced moves won’t have names at all, but there are some standard moves that are more common, such as:

Sugar Push
Inside Turn
Outside Turn, aka Tuck Turn, aka, Under Arm Turn
Whip
Trade Places
Barrel Roll
Cuddle (aka Sweetheart)
Hammerlock
Free Spin
Send Out
etc…

There’s more than one kind of swing dancing. West Coast Swing is a modern form. I think you are thinking of East Coast Swing. Additionally, moves like “the pretzel” aren’t swing moves. That move actually comes from Salsa, and is done with Hustle, which is a partner dance from the 1970s that’s often confused as a swing dance.
